Acute Services

Keep Them Safe has resulted in a number of enhancements to the acute services sector. These include initiatives such as the Bail Assistance Line, which was established to assist juvenile offenders in meeting their bail conditions; Alternative Dispute Resolution, a series of initiatives which aim to provide families with greater participation in decision making around the future care of their children; and Keep Them Safe Whole-Family Teams, a NSW Health intiative that supports families where there are mental health and/or drug and alcohol use problems.

Further details of programs within the acute services category are available in the Keep Them Safe Annual Report 2010-11.
